Instance FAQ

How long does server deployment take?

Typically, deployment completes automatically within 1-5 minutes after payment. You'll receive an email notification with your server's IP address and login credentials.

What operating systems are available?

GoMami supports the following OS templates:

  • Ubuntu — 22.04 LTS, 24.04 LTS
  • Debian — 11, 12
  • CentOS — Stream 9
  • AlmaLinux — 8, 9
  • Windows — Server 2019, Server 2022

For other systems, you can use the Custom ISO feature to mount and install.

What are the server hardware specifications?

Hardware configurations for each product line are listed on the product purchase page. Please refer to the actual page for current specifications.

How do I restart my server?

Multiple options:

  1. Control Panel — Click Restart in Power Management
  2. SSH Command — Run reboot after logging in
  3. API — Call the restart endpoint

See Power Management.

My server won't start. What should I do?

  1. Check the server status in the control panel
  2. Try force power off then restart
  3. Use the VNC console to view the boot process
  4. Enter rescue mode to repair the system
  5. If nothing works, consider reinstalling the OS

I forgot my root password.

You can reset the password via the control panel. If that doesn't work, use rescue mode to manually change it.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Plan changes currently require contacting support via the ticket system.

What happens when I exceed my traffic quota?

After exceeding the monthly quota, bandwidth may be throttled. Specific policies depend on your product specifications. Traffic quota resets at the start of each billing cycle.

Can I use the CPU at full load long-term?

No. If your instance is identified as a "noisy neighbor" — consistently running high CPU loads that affect other users on the same node — you may face CPU performance throttling as a penalty. Please use resources responsibly.
